The Halcón II's versatility extends to applications in pilot training, recreational flying, and security surveillance. Equipped with a Rotax 915is engine, the aircraft offers a flight autonomy of 5-6 hours without refueling, making it an environmentally friendly choice.
In the presence of authorities from the Federal Civil Aviation Agency (AFAC), the Ministries of National Defense and the Navy, as well as former Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard Casaubón, the Halcón 2 made its experimental flight.
